My Perfect Bedroom

If I could design my own room it would include a number of expensive things. First off I'd have a walk in closet with one side everything from FOREVER 21 and the other side things from H&M. These are my two favorite stores and shopping is life to me so bringing everything I love into my own closet would be amazing. Next I'd have a shelf with a lifetime supply of Nutella and pretzels because it's healthy and delicious.Lastly I'd have a projector on my wall which would make Netflix movie nights a million times better.

The 10 Christinas

If I were to ever be blessed with 10 copies of myself, I'd use them to do various activities. First off I'd have one come to school that way I wouldn't be here typing this right now. Another would go to my job and win me employee of the month. The third would go to dance practice for me and save me from shin splints and bruised hips. The fourth one would clean my room, which I've been putting off for a while now. The Fifth would go to the store and bring me back a ton of junk food while another runs a few miles to burn off the thousands of calories that I would intake. The seventh would rub my feet while the eight made me delicious tacos. The ninth one would run me a bubble bath while the last one would change horrible songs for me every time they came on Pandora.

Against the cell phone ban.

I think the rule against using cell phones in the hallways is unnecessary and pointless. I could see how someone could abuse their free time in the hall by being on their phones but as long as they make it to class on time and don't use it during the duration of class, I don't see what the problem is. I think not allowing us to use our phones in the hall will only just tempt people to want to violate the rules even more especially while we're in class. I mean we are in a college environment. I don't see how were expected to act like a college student in some ways but then have rules that separate and babysit us in others.

Zombie Son

Last week my son was a living breathing boy. Today he's a rotting, flesh eating corpse. It's been a little over five days since my son had been normal, and I'm still in disbelief that he is gone for good. I've been keeping him locked up in the garage. My neighbors despise me for keeping such a threat so close to home. They call me a coward, but as funny as it sounds no matter what I couldn't draw up the courage to kill my already "dead" son. They tell me it's only a matter of time before he escapes and I share the same fate as him. My response to them is always just a simple head nod. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Blind Date

If I had the chance to pick two charcters from books to go on a blind date, I'd choose Jacob from Twighlt and Katniss Everden from Hunger Games. I chose to pair these two together because both are really courages and caring for others in their books. Also both are really attractive in the movies so I think they'd make a very cute couple. Their celebrity couple name, "Jatniss" would be really orginal. Lastly they can have their own tv spin off about a rampaging survivalist and a wolf man.

I am from

I am from a place
Where the stage is my home and spot lights hit my face
 I am from a place
Where I don't feel accomplished until I hear the sound of my feet tap tapping away on the floor
I am from a place
Of five hours of brutal practices three days a week
I am from a place
Where the sound of the music can be felt from the tips of my toes to the expressions in my face
I am from a place
Where sweat dripping down my face means I've had a good day
I am from a place
Where injuries are common but won't leave me standing still in one place
I am from a place
Where my body is my instrument while I let the music play
I am from a place
Where one wrong move can leave you on your face but at doesn't stop me from being embraced by the music
I am from a place
Where my pointe shoes leave my feet blistered and sore
I am from a place
Where the music leaves me wanting more
A fouetté here a fire bird there I feel like a sparrow when I leap through the air
I am from a place
Where I won't stop dancing until my frail body gives in & I take my last breathes.

True life: I'm a piñata.

A few days ago I was sitting on a shelf in the Clearance isle. Now here I am, a candy filled donkey hanging from a tree surrounded by a swarm of devious children. They stood about shouting and giggly. I watched their meager attempts to jump and pull me down from the oak tree but, time after time they failed. All this had been taking place while I sat hanging above their hungry faces, trying to figure out my fate. Was the stories I had heard from my fellow piñata friends been true? For months I listened to stories of piñatas like myself, being filled with sugary goodness just to be beaten and preyed upon by demonic children. Well now the time had came, I no longer had to guess my impending doom. A blindfolded child slowly approached me with a bat in hand. Nothing could prepare me for what happened next.
